I honestly think you will be fine if you order this one 🙂 you have a long time to lose the inch if need be. Many wedding dresses also have enough material in the seam to let out an inch or so. But if you are really worried about it, you could check out this one. It’s measurements are about an inch bigger everywhere. And the price isn’t bad 🙂

Gorgeous dress! Have you tried it on, though? I thought I was completely in love with a dress and had to have it, but when I tried it on it really didn’t work for me.

If you have, and it’s the one, I’d go for it. Between some hard work, alterations, or some spanx, I’m sure you can make it work.

And yes, I think a birdcage would look really wonderful with that dress. I can just picture it with a vintage hairstyle and sultry red lipstick!

It`s hard to tell from the pic but it looks like that dress might have 5 seams that could be let out- the two side front seams, two side seams and the center back seam. There should be more than enough material in 5 seams to let the dress out one inch. Even if there are only three seams it should be just fine.

Is it a popular dress? I’m looking to buy used (a style from Fall 2013) and I’m finding that more and more of that dress are turning up (well, maybe one every couple of months or so). That reassures me that I’ll definitely be able to find one before my wedding (in early 2014).

On the other hand, if you bought this one, I’m sure you would be fine. No doubt you can lose an inch before your wedding. But I think you should try and get HER measurements rather than the measurements of the dress, just to make sure. If the fabric isn’t stretchy, then it could be unflattering if it’s too tight. And you can also try on some dresses with the same measurement to see whether you can squeeze into them (especially in the bust and hip area), maybe with some Spanx.

Also, can you ask the seller to check whether the seams have enough fabric to be let out if required?

I would be more wortied about the depth of the cups. Breast implants don’t squish like natural breasts, and they often have issues fitting into bodices with shallow cups. What is the measurement around the fullest part of your bust?

Gorgeous dress- I say go for it! A birdcage would work, but I love the lace veil in the pic:)

most dresses are made with a 2inch give-from what I’ve been told. I’d say you could be ok ordering it. You will need to budget for alterations though and you do have to consider needing to resell it if it just doesnt work for some reason, just the way it goes with buying online. good luck!

Based on your bust measurement , I think you’ll be fine. Lace gowns tend to have a bit of “give” to them once they’ve been on your body awhile. I’d say go for it!
