I bought a package of First Response Gold Digital tests over a year ago when we first started trying. The expiration date is October 2012. Does anyone know how long pregnancy tests stay valid after the expiration date? I can’t find anything online. These would be to confirm pregnancy after getting a BFP on a Wondfo strip, hence why they remain unopened :-(. Thanks!

@poetryreader80: They should still be fine, even if expired in October. I assume if they are still sealed and they weren’t exposed to air, They are likely to show the exact result… and if something is wrong with them (which I really doubt), they will show a negative result or no result at all.
GL and keep us posted. :))))

For something that important, I’d just get a new one!

There’s no harm in trying.

@Rubbs: +1. FRER’s aren’t THAT expensive, especially if you are using Wonfo’s and just using FRER’s to confirm.

Even if you wanted to confirm three times, it would be like $15 at Target. Since you already tested BFP with one method, then I would just go get a fresh box of FRER.

I’d just use them and see what happens first. 🙂 Why not? You’re going to throw them away anyway, might as well pee on them first! 😉 Hahaha!

@MrsFairyBee: Sounds good. It’s just one pack, so hopefully I get the chance to use them up in the next few cycles.
