Has anyone used microsoft word to create their invites?

If so, would you mind doing a tutorial?

I used MS Word for my menus. Simply go to Dafonts and download nice fonts if you are into that. Then download, unzip and sav the fonts into your fonts under your settings. Then they are accessible on MS Word. I am attempting our MAP with google maps next. Dont have much of a tutorial for the menus aside from narrowing the paper to your paper size on the margins and testing it out several times on plain paper before actually printing it. GL!

i used powerpoint actually - it was easier to align things and move them around in the space, etc.

I did too, but I'm doing Boarding Pass invitations. I used a template online... and then I doctored it a lot. I downloaded a lot of fonts from dafont.com to get the right look of my text.

I wouldn't know how to do a tutorial. I have MS 2007 & it's a lot easier to use than the old word. It actually comes with downloadable invites, etc.

I would recommend Powerpoint or Publisher before word, just because of how limited you'll be as far as moving things around. I obsess about my invitations and where exactly everything is going to be printed, though!

Word is easy... if you know how to use it... lol.  What exactly are you wanting to do on them?? That would help us know what kind of tips you need.
