Maybe, instead of having a guest book you could have people 'sign your quilt' and the sewing machiene could be on that table?
You could remove the foot from the sewing machine and tie it to your bouquet? Like this...

Hello,
So I'm having my VR and it dawned on me, how can i incorporate her into the ceremony/reception.
Duh! the only thing I have of hers is a sewing machine. its not a fancy cute antique singer, but an old Brother that I do not think works. would it be okay to use it as a centerpiece? in a table scape?
and have you seen any decorated sewing machines? I will decorate and put flowers on it, etc...
What would you think if you saw this?
