Haven't sent mine out yet - but it's a fear of mine!!
Anyone?
I didn't have a problem, but I wouldn't be surprised to hear that people did have problems.... I have ordered many things online that were sent USPS and got lost, delivered to the wrong address or took forever to get here... so I would just keep checking with those people to make sure they got it... if not, maybe hand deliver a few if you have too.
its so frustrating. And they were the most miserable people in the WORLD when I went to mail them out! She was clearly miffed that she ahd to hand cancel 106 invites, and to top it off they only do 50 free of charge so they would have to charge me .05 per envelope on top of that. Whatever, it is what it is, but FI and I were SO excited to mail them out and this woman was a total buzz kill. Thats NYC for ya
a few didn't get theirs. Luckily they were close friends and we could just talk to them about it!
Where the F do thye go? Like how does an invite just disappear??
I didnt have a problem though it did take some people over a week to get theirs. Dont know why, they probably get held up somewhere or sit in a box not being delivered :(
Yup, I had at least 3 invitations get lost, and I also didn't receive an RSVP card. Ridiculous...
My fiance is a mail carrier and he's dropping them off at the post office on Monday. If they get lost, I will be VERY annoyed, but knowing the ins & outs of how the mail system works, I'm almost expecting it to happen.
I don't know first hand, but I did hear someone else complain about similar situation on another wedding forum. Yikes. that's something to worry about!
We had approximately 5 out of the 100 that never got delivered for some reason. It really bugged me at the time because I spent a lot of time putting them together and they were delivered in a package nonetheless. But in the end, there was nothing I could do about it and I didn't have time to make/send more out. Bugger.
@KellyV: They "disappear" by getting lost in amongst machines, on floors, etc., or by getting delivered to the wrong house.

Has anyone else had a problem with multiple people not receiving their invites? I have a bunch that havent gotten theirs yet, and its been over a week. They arent far (Im in Manhattan, those lost are in Brooklyn, Upstate, and Jersey.) Its frustrating becuse now Im worried there are more than I know missing and if I call them on the RSVP date to see if they're coming and they havent gotten an invite, it looks like theyre B List or something. Ugh snail mail...really dropiing the ball here.
