It was great! we opted not to do the traditional fancy dinner and just stay in ..i got a single rose which I loveeee ..I find it so romantic and he got me a book filled with love messages so sweet. And we went out to see Wolfman ha not your typical vday choice it was actually my idea. lol
Well, I worked and Mr. KM preached. He came over when I got home, though, and gave me the most awesome valentine ever: a comic book of our relationship! With the characters being our animal nicknames. Oh my goodness, I cried so, so much. So, so sweet of him!
It snowed quite a bit here. I spent the day with Mr. A - we visited with my parents, had lunch, baked a cake together and then made dinner. Pretty low key, but we needed it. We've been so busy the last month, it was nice to spend Valentine's Day relaxing.

I got breakfast in bed with a card and white chocolate with coconut flakes (my fav!).
He went to the Illini game this afternoon while I cleaned the house to a T.
Then a steak dinner and champagne and strawberries after we got home.

Well FI suprized me with flowers - red roses and white gerbera daisies. I don't like to get flowers very often, and it made it the perfect suprise today! Unfortunately I have spent the day in my PJs hopped up on vicodin for my tooth pain and sleeping most of the day. We're going to do dinner one night next week since we never have time together during the week and to avoid all the crowds.
