DH and I are new to Oregon and we're trying to figure out a spot to go for our 1 year anniversary. We're limited to spots in Oregon or WA because of budget.

I would love to go somewhere on the coast, so any advice for the best beaches and places to stay?

Any information would be helpful!

Hi there! I know of some great rentals out on the Oregon Coast, and me and my FI have been to both quite a few times. One is in Lincoln City and the other one is in Seal Rock. Personally, if you are going for your anniversary, I would reccommend the Lincoln City house as it is smaller, and has its own private two person hot tub. But you can't really go wrong with either.

Another place I would reccommed is Hood River, out on the Columbia River Gorge, by Mt. Hood. Its an adorable little town with amazing views and hiking.

If you are thinking of going father south, I would reccommed this little cottage off of the McKenzie River. They have an outdoor hot tub that is fueled by a local hotspring. We have not been here in a few years, but we really enjoyed ourselves when we went.

The Lincoln City house is super cute and just what DH and I were looking for. We're in the process of getting the contract signed and deposit sent. Thanks for the suggestion.
