Yup, my doc said it is because the baby is sitting so low.

I assuming you mean that swollen “punched in the vaj” feeling?…. yea that’s totally normal! =/

My midwife suggested 2-3 brisk 10 minute walks a day to get better blood circulation there… it’s REALLY REALLY helped!

I would call your doctor just to be sure. I was just in the hospital for contractions(I am 27 weeks) and I learned that feeling like the baby is pushing down is a sign of pre term labor. The baby and I are fine now but I am so glad I called the doctor. you might want to call for piece of mind

@stefanieastronaut:  It starts with that pressure feeling and then as you get a little further along changes to a painful feeling that amnyistik referenced. Lots of us have been posting about it recently including me.

It’s always ok to call your doctor if your nervous, but what your describing sounds normal.

@stefanieastronaut:  20 weeks I would say it turned into being very uncomfortable. I panicked and posted and everyone explained to me that it was Pelvic Girdle Pain. It’s less than awesome. Another poster made a post about it and I think she said she was 30 weeks when it started.
