Thought it was about time I post this on here.... it shocks everyone I know in my real life, so I know you ladies will get a kick out of it!! My FI and I went to school together in kindergarten, first and second grade before he moved away to Key West. We lost touch, and only re-met when his mom moved back to VA and he came up to visit her in 2003. He had only planned on visiting, and then going back to FL. Well, the rest is history..... hehe His mom had kept this, and when she pulled it out, it floored both of us!!!!! Neither of us remember it from back then, and I don't have the back scanned, but it's got the date, Feb. 1986 and my name scribbled on it! (Done on the back of a connect the dots coloring book page, to boot) I'm having it put onto the front of our invitations, and then inside saying "She still loves him, he is still her boyfriend, and they are getting married"

thanks, I just think it the craziest thing ever!!! And the funny thing is, I don't even remember liking him like that!! LOL I remember us being really good friends and being sad when he moved! It was hard for both of us to connect our "older selves" with the same kids that we remembered from way back when. Like I would look at him, and then remember that little boy with the bowlcut and just be in disbelief that that was the same person and that we were getting married!!!!!!! haha.... the shock has kind of worn off now, but i think it's still def. amazing!

There were so many other weird things too (I should prob make a bio.....LOL) but the first time we slow danced after getting together was at the elementary school we went to when we were little. His mom was at some dance being held there and wanted us to come down. When we got home, it was the first time we said i love you.
that is the sweetest thing in the world. I logged in at work just so I can comment on the cuteness of this!!!!! I am sooo happy for you two :)

That is the cutest thing ever! I think it would be neat if you mimicked something like that for your guestbook too, like have copies of that heart, but blank, for people to fill in!
that is soooo amazing!!!!! 86 was a good year (i was born then ;) you guys have to tell that story at your wedding!!!!
@calivalley82: that is an awesome idea!! I'm not going the normal guestbook route, but doing the photobooth with either the little chalkboards or whiteboards for people to write messages to us on. But it would SO cute if we made them in the shape of that not-so-perfect heart!!
