Simple - you don't shop!! My FI is similiar. While generally we have stopped gifts on Valentine's Day, we make the day about doing stuff with each other. Perhaps you could write him little love notes on the day and stick them in various places throughout the house? Like on the bathroom mirror, computer monitor, kitchen cupboards, fridge. Then he can find them as he goes through the day. You could even tape a little chocolate next to each note for somethign cute (and yummy!). They don't have to be sappy - for example, on the fridge, put "I can't wait to have dinner with you tonight!"
Excellent topic. I'm needing some ideas. I was so good at Christmas but I used up all the good ideas. We've put a $50 cap on V-day gifts.
I was thinking about making a coupon book for FH with things like a free massage, a night that I take out the trash, a night where he can watch whatever he wants, one for him to choose the resturant for dinner or to choose a meal I cook. Little things that don't cost a lot to do, but he would enjoy.
i got my fi a wii game. we just got a wii and have no games yet, so it will be exciting for him.
He loved our couples massage on our honeymoon, so I scheduled one for feb. 13th for us.

So what are you getting your boyfriend, fiance, husband, significant other for Valentine's day? I know he is planning a surprise for me and I originally wasn't going to do much on my end since we agreed that we would just go out to dinner this year -no gifts but now I don't know...should i get him something? Any gift ideas...how do u shop for the one that has everything!!!
