I am waiting for my ring still and his official proposal(his idea) so I am hoping for VDay. However I dont have the feeling that it might be only going off of what we had told me before on New Years when I had proposed to me. I hope he doesnt change his mind. :(
I'll be before, hopefully. Oh, how I hope. He said it would be, but I also know he has NO idea how he wants to do it so... fingers crossed!
im waiting for my official proposal too...i told him not to do it on vday because i think its pretty cliche and i would hate to be one of ten girls in the restaurant who get proposed to that same day. however, i still think he's waiting for that. hopefully he'll surprise me sooner but i have no idea how!
Am 99.2% sure it won't be me. I know it wouldn't be the right time in our lives for an engagement...but I still kinda want him to propose. And he knows that, and he feels awful for disappointing me, but I'm still pretty certain it won't be me. :-(

I've never wanted a Valentine's Day proposal because I also think it's cliche and Valentine's Day has always been a whatever day for me and my guy. But a little alarm bells are ringing 'cause boyfriend wants to go to a nice restaurant of the 14th and do the whole Valentine's Day dinner date type of thing. This is super odd because we've never done planned dates and he's the type that likes eating at dives so it's definitely strange behavior. Plus he already has my ring, so it's definitely possible.
I guess when it comes down to it, I wouldn't hate a Valentine's Day engagement, 'cause I just want it to happen already - still it's not going to be a surprise, which is all I'm really hoping for.
I hope I get one!!!!! BUT probably not cause we are broke right now lol

I personally won't be getting one for months. Tax return was MUCH less than thought... so that won't speed up the layaway payments like he thought.
Wont be me... I wont even see my baby on vday.. Damn LDRs lol.. But soon I know this for sure.

I really hope I will get a proposal over Valentines weekend, we have a LDR and I will be flying out to see him next Thursday, but he is not giving me any clues....so it could be a hit or miss! Good luck to all the ladies out there! Fingers crossed!
I don't necessarily think it will be Valentine's Day, but the week after. We are going on a cruise with his family so it might happen then. Then again he might also torture me and make me wait til we get back. Either way I'm pretty sure it will be before the end of Feb.
I think I might be getting the ring on the 13th. S has a whole day of surprise dates planned. (I have to wear a blindfold in the car!) He has also booked a fancy dinner and a swish hotel room. So maybee? hopefully!!
I understand the not wanting to get engaged on V-day because "everyone else" is doing it. But right now I would take it...heck I wouldn't care if my BF asked me while I was on the toliet....Just do it! LOL

I leave on Feb 22 and he has waited over a month already (LDR but we're spending 2 months together this winter), but he's assured me that we'll get engaged this break (which is good, because we've booked our venues already and are going to book vendors next week, haha). I can only assume he's waiting for valentines, although we are going to NYC this weekend, so I guess he could do it there.

BUt seriously, I wont be getting one..we JUST went ring shopping 3 weeks ago and BF is having a hard time making $ lately..maybe a tax return proposal? haha nahhh prob not..that is DEF going to my ring fund though!
lol..so funny..i so had a dream about this last night!
in my dream a woman was telling me that my BF has bought me "some bling bling for Valentine's Day"..hahahahaha and in my dream i could see diamonds scatters around..so weird!
I would not expect it would be me because we dont actually get money out of a CD until march, unless he borrowed it from his parents. eh..either way i cannot wait to see who gets crossed off the list though!

My BF said it would be happening when I least expect it... That definitely leaves the door open for a toilet propsal. :( haha. I don't think it'll be V-day; he mentioned that it would be too cliche (I don't really care when, I'm just excited to start a life with this man!)
I was thinking it'd be the weekend after, but the red lights have since gotten dimmer. And now I'm just not sure...
Hmmm.... I never thought about being one of 10 girls getting proposed to on Valentines day! lol That actually makes me kinda sad now. Although, now that I think about it, I have never seen anyone being proposed to at a restaurant on Vday before.
Man I am with everyone else today can I please have my ring already! LOL. I am also hoping for a tax refund proposal with that extra money I hope he is inspired to go the jewelry store! :)
Good luck to everyone. I don't think I'll get one because the money's just not there but I would love a Vday proposal. The date is actually significant to us. It was the first time we ever had a "non-work" conversation. It was about what we did on Valentine's day. So it's kind of our inside joke.
Not me, but I'm ready to see some major action on the waiting board. There has definitely been a post-holiday lull in proposals and I'm ready to do some more congratulating!
I'm pretty sure I won't be getting one, but I'm not sad. I think I'm in a better waiting spot than a month ago when I was on the verge of going crazy.lol

My bf wont be proposing v-day. I'm 99.9% sure! I don't think he could swing it financially. Maybe, my birthday in May? But even that's a stretch!
OMG its Thursday!! (Well, it is in Australia) that means KMSull will hopefully be engaged very very soon!!!
ok...so even though i said that vday was cliche...i totally take my words back. if thats the soonest it comes, i'll take it! now i'm not so sure because tonight his car died and he'll have to dish some cash for a new one...i'm afraid those will be the funds :( :(
he's been sulking all night and i'm really bummed for him. :/
I would love to get my ring on Valentines Day! He's very nervous these days so I'm thinking that he might! He has already arranged to take my mother and my grandmother out to dinner, so I'm thinking that maybe Valentines Day will be our day... I mean truly, what better way to say I love you, will you be my wife than to say it on Valentines Day. If I don't get it on the day designated for LOVE, I have to admit, I will be a little disappointed.
