I don’t have any Valentino’s, but do have lots of pairs of shoes in the same price-bracket eg Jimmy Choos, Ginas, and Dolce and Gabbanas, and IMPO the more you pay, the greater the comfort.

I can last all night in all my designer shoes (at NYE I wore a pair of 4 inch Gina stilettoes, no platform, from 7.30pm until 5am with no issues); in cheap shoes, I last a couple hours if I’m lucky.

I wore a pair of Valentino kitten heels for my wedding and I love them! I did take them off for dancing at my reception but I rarely wear heels at all (my dh is only an inch taller than me, which is a very convenient excuse never to wear heels!) so that’s not really an indication. I’ve worn them to other weddings since all night.
