Good afternoon Bees
I thought it would be great to have a "Bee" meetup before the holidays start and was wondering if you would like to come.
I was thinking December 11th might be a good day but am open to suggestions. (evening or afternoon)
Please post your thoughts...weekend, weekday, time, location etc. and then i will start a poll later to nail down a day and time.

I'm so sorry, but I am going to be in New York for my wedding that weekend! :o I will be back by the next weekend though.
I can't make weekdays because of work, and weekends tend to be better for me than weeknights.
My favorite meal of the day is brunch, so might I suggest that?

18th would be better for me, and brunch sounds delicious.
I'm in Langley, but like all of us south of the Fraser, and totally vehicle dependent, so I'm flexible about where we go.
I wish I could come gatecrash your Vancouver meet up - I was just there visiting this week and LOVED it. (Mr Jag & I were just chatting over dinner about how we'd love to move there, haha) Have fun, ladies!
I already have a holiday engagment on the 18th in the evening, but could do during the day. The 4th would be my preferable date. I work shift work, days and nights, so my schedule is sort of all over the place.
P.S. I LOOOOOOOVE brunch! My only request would be if possible, to make it somewhere transit accessible, as I don't own a vehicle. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

I'm so jealous!!! I'm a former Vancouverite (born and raised) but now live in Calgary :( And the Calgary bee's don't seem to want to do a meet up. Maybe I'll fly in :P

It says on their website they serve Sunday brunch. I can't find hours of operation and whether they're open that early on Saturdays. Although, I'm sure they'd be opening for lunch around that time.
Ohh yeah i had never thought of that...most places serve brunch on sundays not saturdays!!

Does anyone have any other suggestions of places, anywhere accessible by transit??!!
Sorry! I'm totally being the annoying person in meetings who just shoots down ideas, and comes up with no alternatives. I don't know Vancouver proper very well, especially transit.
We did milestones by Brentwood last time, which I think was right near a skytrain station. Their website says they serve brunch on weekend days. Maybe there's one more downtown?
I think Brentwood might work as its a little more "central" ? If they serve brunch though, thats great....

Oh we had lots of fun at Milestones at Brentwood! Let's see who responds and where they are coming from. Then we can see what 'central' is for most people.
Sorry ladies! My husband is travelling for work right now and he's only around on the weekends (which are insanely jammed packed of holiday craziness!) If you guys decide to meet up on a weekday, I'm in!

I think the 18th should work for me - I am fine with either. Robson is probably easier for me, but Brentwood is fine too.
I love Milestones! I've never been to the one at Brentwood, but I'm sure I can get there without a problem.
Pssssh, clearly I should read all the thread before responding. Just wanted to clarify that I could do either Robson or Brentwood. And it doesn't have to be necessarily on a Skytrain line directly, but just not somewhere that would take like an hour to get to on the bus. I live by Metrotown in Burnaby, and live close to Metrotown Station. I can also do the 18th during the day, so no worries there. Don't worry about me! I'll get there somehow :) :) :)
I also forgot that most places just do brunch on Sundays, but if Milestones does it on both weekend days, perhaps that is a better option.

I printed an album from Blurb, but had them all shipped to my parents place in NB. I pick up my copy there when I go home for Christmas. But I might bring my Netbook to share photos with you all...lol! I'll bring it under the guise of helping those who are still planning...yes...helping... lol!
YES!!! I am bringing mine as well....but its because i have to go straight from there to my in laws for christmas...*laugh* now i just feel normal! I will bring it in as well!
