Hi there, I was looking through the posts and saw that there was a Vancouver meet up about 6 months ago. Would anyone be interested in doing another?
Thought it would be nice to meet other ladies in the same wedding planning mode as I am. Maybe share ideas, vendors or warn us about bad experiences?

I'd be interested. There was another meetup in February I wasn't able to make, and then talk of one in April that never came to fruition. I'd love to hang out with some Vancouver bees again!
Hey ladies! I'm in the lower mainland as well. Summer is a difficult time to arrange schedules but i am interested! Maybe after the long weekend? July 8th or such ...
I probably won't be able to meet up till August but I look forward to meeting up.
I would for sure like to... I guess someone just has to take the lead and make a date and place....
Ok, I don't mind arranging something but I need a date that works best for you ladies in August and a few suggestions on where. I can meet pretty much anywhere. :)
Sure I'd be up for another one.. Went to the one in February and it was fun. This time I have my ring ;) (It was getting resized at the time at the meeting).

Where is a good central location for most people? Depends where people are coming from.. Surrey? Burnaby? New West?
I woud definitely be up for one as well :) August sounds great! Im from Surrey, but I have a car and I can use park and ride/ drive/ transit so, its no biggie to travel :)

Anytime in the first half of August would work for me. I have a friend's bachelorette and wedding taking up the last two weekends.
I live in Kitsilano, but I can easily drive or take transit to wherever's convenient for the majority.
I work DT but live in Surrey. So i'm easy! err... I'm flexible on where.
I'd like to come too...although my FI will probably look at me like I have two heads when I tell him where I'm going lol.
I live in PoCo but can easily travel. My schedule is pretty flexible in the summer too. I just know I'm away for the August long weekend.
So the next question is, are you gals ok with meeting up on a week night? (Work the next day?). I'm free after August 10th, even on days I have to work the next day. I get off work and home around 5. Weekends are usually busy.
Im totally cool with weeknights! I just might not be about to do anyting on the 23rd because thats my birthday, but besides that, August is totally free with me!
I'd love to meet up. I'm back visiting and Vancouver from Aug 9 til I decide I want to come home to Penticton. So I am pretty flexible :)

@SportsGal: Hey! I saw your e-pics... I interviewed that photographer :)
I could try to pull off Aug 15th but because its a weekday (and Im working now!) My hours around then will be either 9am-3pm or 6am-2pm- So I could meet up maybe for dinner or something but probably not anything later (8pm) because I have to get home to sleep!

@julietblueeyes: I will be in Vancouver (downtown) once I get out of work..so hopefully I will be able to work it out between park and ride and getting to burnaby. Can you send me the address for the milestones in Burnaby? even if I get out around 3pm I should be able to make it out there. :)
@vmec: You saw them? I guess on the photographer's blog eh? haha small world I know. So far I think she does good work, it was definitely a helpful session to know what to expect for the big day. We were both so nervous.
And the 15th works for me as well! :) I'm good to go whenever works for most people.

Hey ladies...just saw this thread...im all old and married now, but owuld love to come. Im DOC at a wedding the night before so i might be tuckered but I will try and be there!
Are we going to the Milestones in Burnaby? If so, is that in Metrotown? Or where? If someone knows and can post it on here for the group so we all know where to go that'll be great. :)

@julietblueeyes: I thought so; I will probably drive or take transit then from Scott Rd Skytrain, cus thats were Im parked when I go to work.
