Hi Eqad,
Can you send your recommendation to me as well? I'm looking for one too, thanks! ![]()
Thank you and I love your bridemaids' dress, and the wedding cake. The baby blue is my favor color. Is your cake taste good? Can you pls let me know where did you get your cake. thanks!
Callalily on Davie Street 2 minutes from English Bay.
They're right around the corner from where I work & I love, love, love everything in their shop! I would use them for my own wedding if my mom wouldn't die a painful death. She's a florist in Abbotsford. lol
We used Blooming Buds in Coquitlam and I can't say enough good things about Celia. Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful - she was fantastic. Celia worked within our budget and the results were amazing. I even had to add extra flowers for the cocktail hour and one quick call to Celia and all was taken care of. Celia was a pleasure to work with and I have recommended her to many of my friends.

Thanks, Bailyh! We asked Sandy's for a flower collection that was smaller than what you requested ... and the price was even higher. Maybe it was the color? Who knows.
But in the meantime we found a good deal at Mayhew-Sherwood on W Broadway. They are having a $99 special that includes bridal bouquet, one maid bouquet, 3 bout, and 2 corsages. Or something like that. Anyway, we had to add a few things but it still came out pretty cheap. I think. (I am not very flower savvy!)

Any Vancouver brides extra pleased with their florists?
I adore buying flowers from The Flower Factory on Main St. I think I annoy the crap out of them with my bridezilla-level requests when I am just buying bouquets for friends (PURPLE AND ORANGE. NO, NO LIGHT PURPLE. DAHLIAS AND LISIANTHUS. NO, NO GERBERAS. GEOMETRIC LOOKING, UNUSUAL SHAPES, LOTS OF SYMMETRY. OH WOW LOOKS LOVELY!) but maybe I'll win back their love with a huge wedding order.
I know their site says they'll work with any budget, but I am wondering if any of you would like to suggest a great florist for me to look into.
