I can't say it's exact, but I know I've seen some interestingly shaped tall glass vases/urns at Target. They're sort of knock-offs of the more expensive versions you'd see at Crate + Barrel, Pottery Barn, etc. but they would still do the trick if it's the interesting shape you're going for. If you live near a Target, check out their housewares to see if they have something similar!
weren't there some similar to this recently in the classified section? i think they may have been limited as to where she would ship, but you might want to look there.
The vase looks like a reversible hurricane. It's designed so you can either use it as seen in your pic, or flipped over so that it's a shallow bowl on top of a long stem. Unfortunately, I couldn't find much online in a quick search--just this one from the holidays at Bed, Bath and Beyond (and it doesn't look like the longer portion has the width you'd need): http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?order_num=-1&sku=14737693&
It wouldn't have quite the same drama, but using a hurricane would work and give you that pretty flared shape at the top. Or maybe a footed apothecary jar without the lid? The jars would sell well after the wedding since they're so popular for candy buffets, so you wouldn't be left with a bunch of vases!
Cupcake- Thanks, I will check out Target for some interesting shaped vases.
Catrelle- I'm not in the right location for those, but thanks for the suggestion.
Suebee- Thanks a lot. I guess I didn't realize that was the shape of a hurricane!
I have no idea where you could find those but, wow that arrangement is beautiful! Good luck
There are different shapped vases at Ikea, not exactly what you're looking for, but affordable nonetheless.
I've seen something very similar at Michael's (the craft store).
I was just going to suggest going to a craft store, or maybe calling other florists and seeing if you can purchase some or even rent from them
Roseychicklet- I have yet to check out Michaels, but I looked at AC Moore (another craft store) and couldn't find any there. Michaels usually has a bigger selection though, so i should make a trip there.
Suchi- thanks for the ikea link, I had looked there and didn't find quite what I was looking for, but you're right- they are super affordable!
Vividfuji- YGM!
They have tons of products. I think I may have seen something similar to it. It kind of looks like an apothocary vase w/o the lid. I would look at the websites apothocary jars (they are the cheapest I have found too but watch your S&H charges too)

MY florist doesn't have any vases similar to the one in the photo. Does anyone know what type of vase may have been used or where I might be able t find something similar at an affordable price or is anyone selling any that are similar? TIA!!!
