Any program like Illustrator would work, you can downlaod trial versions at www.adobe.com

Does anyone know if the open source program Inkscape would be sufficient? It's a great alternative if you don't want to spend $$ on Adobe. Mrs. Lemon did a post on open source programs a while ago.
iStockphoto will give you vector images in an EPS format that can be opened in Adobe Illustrator, Freehand, or CorelDRAW. Newer versions of Microsoft Word will open EPS files, Adobe Reader can open an EPS file and export it as a JPEG as well.
Does this help? I'd be glad to answer any questions!
Oh and from what I've researched Inkscape WILL NOT open EPS files.
You can use free online image editing software at a.viary.com that is comparable to PhotoShop, Indesign, etc.
If your image editing software can open eps files and has a "paint bucket" feature, you should be able to change the color of vector images pretty easily, provided they aren't gradients.

I am currently designing my invitations, and I am looking at istockphoto.com. There are couple of vector drawings that I am really interested in, but I'm wondering what kind of software I need in order to change the colors on a vector drawing. Maybe this is getting too tech-y, but I just thought someone out there in the hive might know. If it's just basic like Microsoft Paint or Publisher or something, that would be great. Thanks!!!
