Peacefood cafe has amazing baked vegan goods. I'm not sure if they can do a wedding cake but they do cupcakes and smaller cakes. Might be worth a shot.
Ooh, good idea! We eat at Peacefood all the time, but I never thought about them for a cake. Definitely worth asking.
Glad I could help! If I think of any more I'll post, but I'm not vegan so I only try them out of curiosity (and haven't really been disappointed yet!)

(I was going to suggest Babycakes until I saw that part of your post. I'll come back if I think of another suggestion... Do you know if Lula's Apothecary does ice cream cake?! I LOVE their sundaes.)

Hi Courtney! I just came across this post and would like to share my favorite Vegan/Gluten-Free bakery in NYC. Tully's or now better known as Tu-Lu's Bakery, is all gluten-free and carries a very large selection of vegan baked goods. I must be on a GF diet, and this is the only bakery I've ever been to that has SO much to choose from- and EVERYTHING is delicious! I have not been dissatisfied yet and I've been a regular there for almost 2 years now. I hope this helps, wish you luck with finding the perfect cake!

Anyone have any recommendations for a good vegan (or can do vegan) bakery in NYC? My fiance and I are having a vegan wedding, and I'm not crazy about the designs and flavors of Babycakes, the go-to vegan bakery. I've sent out emails to a few other places, but I'm sure I've missed somewhere fabulous in my research.
