I need help from all the vegas brides. Were thinking of ditching our venue (taking a loss) and getting married in Vegas. This is actually what I wanted in the first place but got talked out of like an idiot and its gona be an expensive mistake.. but o well.

So, were thinking of getting married at the Bellagio and having dinner with our guests aprx 40 people afterwards at one of the hotels on the strip. We want something chic and no too uptight.

I need help, inspiration ( photos etc..) and suggestions!

It was Starbright333's wedding, and I was her photographer :)

You can see her pictures here if you'd like to look at them again.

She had her ceremony at Caesar's Palace in the Venus Garden and the reception at the Foundation Room at the top of the Mandalay Bay.

I know that she had originally been planning to have the reception at Firefly, a tapas restaurant in town, but at the last minute they had to change it.

Several of the hotels on the strip have multiple locations to get married depending on how many people you're having.

40 people would probably fit in the Venus Garden at Caesar's and it was a nice private location.

I think Vegas is a great place to get married because there are so many fun things for your guests to do while they're in town, and great options for you to plan :)

Just be prepared that most locations will be doing several weddings on your wedding day, sometimes only spaced an hour apart.  The actual ceremony will be short and sweet, so make sure your reception/dinner location gives you some privacy and the ability to linger awhile with your guests.

You may also want to check out bestdestinationwedding.com

It's a forum kind of like the Bee, but dedicated only to destination weddings.  There's some good Vegas info on there.

    Hope that helps!
