My sister is getting married in June in Vegas and I am trying to figure out a good place to have a bachelorette get together.  She is adament that she does not want to do something that involves strippers or too much of a "club" feel because it will be a mix of older and younger ladies, although everyone will be over 21.  I haven't been to Vegas since I was about ten years old, so obviously I am not too familiar with good bars, etc. there.  Does anyone have any recommendations on fun, somewhat inexpensive things to do or fun bars where everyone could go to talk and have drinks?

I would recommend the Piano Bar at New York New York if you want a more low-key, yet really fun evening! I think it is about $20/person to get in, or it could be $10, I forget. There are also probably some more "loungey" type places where you girls could grab a drink! I went to Vegas for my bachelorette but we went to the clubs right in our hotel (XS and Encore Beach Club). We had a blast, but they didn't have a "club" feel. There are so many fun things to do in Vegas!

Thanks for the help brittromance!  I will definitely look into the Piano Bar.

    Any other suggestions?

Oooo you're going to have so much fun! Even if you guys aren't "club" people - you will become "club people" in Vegas haha. I recommended looking online for Vegas Bachelorette party ideas. A lot of clubs will give you a really great discount. I highly recommend doing bottle service. This will make sure you have a table, guarentee you admission, let you skip the line (and cover fees), and you won't have to fight at the bar for drinks all night.

My girlfriends and I went to Blush at the Wynn over the summer and it was a lot of fun. And more loungey then clubby. They offer a pretty good deal for bachelorette groups:

TAO is also a great club.

Also, make sure you pick a hotel with an "adult pool". That sounds weird - but it's not. It's just where all the 21+ people hang out, drink, gamble, etc. A lot of times there are DJ's, etc. It's a lot of fun. I recommend Wet Republic at the MGM, Bare at The Mirage, and the pool at the Wynn (can't remember the fancy name).

Most hotels have a nicer lounge area where you can hang out and have drinks and arent clubby. Where are you staying? A lot of the bars also have free drink coupons and whatnot for groups of girls.

@icelara: We are staying at the Flamingo, but I haven't done much looking into what types of options are in that hotel specifically.  I think we are willing to go just about anywhere on the strip for the right place.

So the concensus is that we might be better off looking into a lounge than a bar or club?

@rachel_leigh: I say, just go with the flow and see how everyone feels when you get there. Vegas has something in the air that just makes you excited about being there and you may find yourself sitting VIP in a club or hanging out with a celebrity, lol. Have a couple options to mull over, but see what happens! Have a wonderful time!

Maybe you can get a cabana at one of the nicer pools and then go out to a nice dinner and drinks?

I stayed at The Flamingo when I went to Vegas 3 years ago! I absolutely loved it & you can't beat it for the price! There is also an adults only pool there, we never made it there. The big pool is absolutely amazing & we honestly spent every single day until about 4pm at the pool drinking!
