I was kind of thinking the same thing, although I need some stair inspiration photos for a curved staircase like this!
@hiheel: +1
@be.mne: google "bride staircase" for starters
I'd do The Mirage---- there's a lot more opportunities for photo ops outside the suite than at the Nugget. There's the volcano out front plus the rainforest and atrium just off the lobby. The Nugget is a lot less interesting to look at once you leave the suite, and some candid shots in the public areas of the hotel might make for a more interesting album.
Mirage will have better views if you want to try for some nighttime shots too.
Oh the Mirage also has the Beatles-themed bar that has the word LOVE in giant light-up letters as one wall (if memory serves me), that would be a great photo op.
ETA the letters actually spell REVOLUTION but the middle section is turned to spell LOVE, here's a pic:

Hi bees!
My FI and I are getting married in Vegas on Valentine's Day (just the two of us) and I booked a photographer for a photo shoot the day after. I wanted to book a hotel room that screams old Vegas glamour, but is also still very classy and spacious. So far, I have booked both hotel rooms for the same purpose but need opinions on which one would be better for photography purposes (getting ready, dress shots, shoe shots, poses with just the two of us, etc. etc.)! I have booked both the One Bedroom Tower Suite at the Mirage and the Spa Suite at the Golden Nugget. Anyone stayed at either or both of these before? If not, I need opinions!
