Hey everyone! So my FI and I are thinking about getting married in Vegas, since we have both been married before and don’t want to do the big wedding thing. Has anyone gotten married there?? I could use all the tips and advice I can get! We are thinking about getting married this November 2014 so it’s soon!!
Thanks in advance!

Amandalowe34: hi Amanda! I am gettingarrived in Las Vegas in November 2014 and so far the process has been great! The hardest thing is choosing the right place! If you want to post some things you’re looking for, I might be able to point you in the right direction.

Hello! I looked into the Vegas thing a few months back and found The Platinum Hotel had a great price on everything! It isn’t on the strip but they have a rooftop space that has the strip in the background! Anyway, I had requested a proposal for the following:
15 guests, rooftop space, ceremony and 2 hour reception
The price was $2,359.80.
Water Station for guests
The 2 hour reception included:
Tables & Chairs
Dinner Stations (I asked for sliders and mashed potato bar)
2 passed hors d’ouevres
2 hour opem wine/beer/soda bar
Champagne toast for guests
Cutting and serving wedding cake
2 hour photography
Overnight suite accomodations for bride and groom on wedding night
Discount on rooms for guests
-Sorry that was so much! lol! If you are looking for something a bit smaller, maybe check out The Cosmopolitan hotel, they do in suite ceremonies that you can have food and drink for the guests as well!
Hope that helps a little!

My dh and I got married in Vegas at the Always and Forever chapel. It’s not on the strip and in a business building but relatively nice inside. I didn’t want the red carpet or the Elvis experience (he did). We called not even a week before we wanted to get married and they had a slot available. We had our dog with us and we stayed at the La Quinta and they gave us a card for a pet sitter.

Whoa, no idea why that happened. The first picture did not want to shrink down for some reason.
