@MsGinkgo:  The only one that is more of a vegetable than a starch is the last one.

First is pastry, second is rice, third is pasta, fourth is cheese with a little salad and a crostini.

I would need more information re the rest of the menu because most of these are not really vegetable dishes.

Pasta is never a bad choice.  Everyone loves carbs and cheese!

@MsGinkgo:  I LOVE veggies and would love any of those choices but if I had to pick for a group of people I think the roasted vegetable tower would be the most universal for people with different palates and tastes.

If you want to go over the top, and dont care what most people would want than go with the wild mushoom ravioli or the abrorio risotto

As a vegetarian, I’d be thrilled to be offered any of these meals as a wedding dish. At most weddings you get some riff on spaghetti with marinara sauce, or just a big portobella mushroom in the middle of a plate…so sign me up for ANY of the ones you posted! I love that they’re inventive and not your run-of-the-mill “quick throw something together for the vegetarians!” meals!

I think the strudel sounds the most heavenly!

@julies1949: Come on now. I’m sure she just meant that these are the *vegetarian* options.

And frankly, they’re quite a bit better than the ones I’ve been offered at weddings in the past!

@MsGinkgo:  I think it’s good that you clarified you are looking for a vegetarian option, not a veggie choice. I think it will affect your poll results.

@MsGinkgo: I think they’re excellent options! You can’t go wrong, IMO!

Um, all of them.  Please send me samples so I can best make a decision for you.

They all sound good, but I chose the wild mushroom ravioli purely because it comes with pinenuts.  I love pinenuts, but where I live they cost $90-$100 per kilogram, so I just can’t justify buying them myself.  I would be over the moon to have them at a wedding!
