@DanielleI:  I think I’ve seen everyone take it off for reception At the weddings I’ve attended so that’s what I plan on doing.

I never took mine off! But I had a really short reception with no dancing.

I’m wearing mine for ceremony & pictures. Maybe ill keep it on during the cocktail hour, but I’m going to take it off after.

@DanielleI:  I wore my veils (a blusher and another more detailed one) the whole time! They were elbow length, so they never got in my way. About halfway through the reception my blusher did fall out (too many happy hugs tugging on it), but I kept the other one in. I just really loved the look and knew I would never have the opportunity to wear a veil pretty much any other time in my life. It helped make me feel especially bridal.

Good question. I have both a cathedral and a blusher (2 different veils b/c FI wants the blusher so he can lift it). I will definitely wear both for ceremony…with blusher lifted over head. Then cathedral veil only for pictures and the first dance…then off with it for rest of the evening. This sounds a bit much but in my mind it works lol.

i only wore mine during the ceremony and some pictures. I had a cathedral length veil, so wearing it during anything else would have been a disaster!

I wore mine all night, but it only came to my shoulders so it never got in the way.  I loved my veil so much that I never planned to take it off 🙂

I had a cathedral veil so I only did pictures and ceremony then had it removed.
