@GingerSnapped19:  Why not just get a raw edge veil? You still get the veil for the bridal look but don’t have any embellishments to take away from the dress. As for ivory, I think an ivory veil would be best, but you should compare the two options with your dress once it comes in. It might be a light enough ivory that there wouldn’t be any difference.

@HisMoon:  +1, a raw edge veil in ivory is exactly what I would suggest. I think fingertip length works well with your style dress, but cathedral length is also perfect with anything – it’s what I had 🙂

@GingerSnapped19:  Your dress made my jaw drop!  It’s gorgeous!

Before you rule out a cathedral veil, you might consider looking into making one.  I made my veil and it had pearls and lace and only cost about $20-25 total.  It’s kind of embarrassingly easy to make, also.  If you like sewing or have a friend/relative who does, it could save you a ton of money!

is that an alfred angelo? if so I bought the same dress and actually got my veil at the store but they don’t have any pictures online of the viel. It is cathedral length with a little bit of bling around the edge. I also got it in ivory and it looks perfect with the dress. It is style V197L. My veil is in VA and I’m in MA otherwise I would send you pictures of it. Let me see if I can find any others…

I think you could do any length with that dress, just not too many tiers, and it would be beautiful if you could find a veil with a beaded edge that matches the bead’s on the dress.
