I need some advice about veils. My dress, Michelle Roth — Zoe Smells the Roses, is full and detailed, but I can’t decide if the veil should have some sparkle to it, or if it should be simple. The only things I am set on are that it has to be cathedral length and single tiered. I haven’t fallen in love with any local options, so I’ve been looking at online retailers. Anyone have any suggestions?
One of the other obstacles I’ve found is that because I purchased the dress from Kleinfeld, some of the local shops aren’t too cool with me bringing it in. I’m having a hard time putting it all together in my head.
As always, many thanks!

I would do a plain veil since the dress has a lot going on in the skirt. It depends a little on your accessories though. Its easy to dress up a plain veil with a sparkly tiara/headband and other jewelery. With the sparkly one you will probably want simple jewelery.

@phloxi: I agree with the veil being plain. If it’s simple and perhaps just a few layers, it would suit the dress petter than a mantilla or anything busy. I think it would have a lot to do with how you’re going to do your hair~

Thank you both! I really appreciate the advice.

Another vote for a simple veil – you don’t want it to fight against your dress!

I think I have found one! It is simple, but at the very bottom, there is a rhinestone pattern that trails just beyond the train. I’ll keep you updated! Thank you, again!
