Has anyone altered the veil they bought?
I have found two veils that I like but both are over $200. I may just end up buying one of them because I’m picky and I want a beaded scallop edged long veil… but if I can get around it, I would prefer not to spend over $200 for something I’ll only wear for the ceremony and some pictures.
I found a veil that *might* work on Dressilyme for $44 shipped, but it has two tiers and I’m not going to be putting it over my face and think the second tier would look weird if it’s always just hanging in back… so, I’m wondering if anyone has taken off a tier?
I can’t imagine it’d be difficult to do, as tulle is pretty easy to work with.
Are there any other stores that anyone can think of for discount veils? I know the quality isn’t anywhere near as good, but lets face it, for an hour maximum use, it’s not work the $330 price tag of the one I loved, or even really the $200 price tag of the second choice… especially considering I went a little over budget with my dress.
(I’ve looked through etsy, ebay, dressilyme, simply bridal)
This is the veil i’m considering ordering from dressilyme
but this is the one I absolutely adore (i’d order the longer length) on me, in my dress.
