Weddingbee boards

I have a white strapless wedding dress, and an antique off-white/ivory veil (not sure which is the right color but it's not yellowish).  Seeing as they're different colors will it still work (I cannot dye the veil).  The strapless wedding dress has a bit of folds around the bust but other than that is plain (no sparkles or sequence).

Do you have any pictures you can share? I'm thinking it would be fine, but it's hard to say without seeing any pictures.

The veil I don't have a picture, it's cathedral length and lace, not just lace trim.   So that's another question.  I feel like the top of the dress and the lace veil may not coordinate very well, I haven't tried them both on together yet as the veil nor dress is in my possession yet, the veil is a family heirloom on the grooms side.

I wanted to wear my mother's veil...but it didn't go with my dress. (Casablanca 1892). So I decided to wear it to my rehearsal. :) Maybe if it doesn't look good with the dress, that could be an option?

That's true, maybe there's other ways to incorporate it into the wedding f it does not go with the dress.  We talked about somehow making a pin or something for the dress that incorporates elements of the veil so it would look more coordinated but I feel like it may be a bit of a tough.  The dress is a bit modern and the veil is classic/lace, so it's not just the color but tying in the two different styles.   I really like both the dress and the veil and chose the dress because my wedding is quite soon and they said it was too difficult to buy it by ordering, it wouldn't arrive in time.  So luckily they had this dress in stock.
