I am planning on wearing both, but not together. I bought a headband and veil then fell in love with a hair flower on etsy! I kind of hate the headband, but it jives nice with the veil, so I'm going with it. I know the veil will bug me after a while at the reception, so I plan to ditch veil and headband for hair flower after pics. I will say that I tried on veil and flower together, and if you place it right, it works...of course I have no pics for you though :P
No way, it looks great! I'm doing it! I don't have any pics, but I've SEEN so many pics of the two together, and I just love it!
Maybe you could wear the veil for the ceremony and the flower for the reception? I was going to wear a flower for the reception but I forgot it at home!

I'm wearing both too. I wanted just the flower & no veil at all but it was one of the concessions I made for my parents. I'll remove the veil when the ceremony's over.

I agree, a flower and veil can look great together. All the photos posted here are nice. Just have to make sure it looks right/balanced!
Both would look great! Flowers in the hair are such a great detail!
You can totally do it!!! I had veil+hairpiece for the wedding, then flower+hairpiece for the reception.

I think it can look great. I was planning on doing both a la Ms. Tiramisu, too, but decided against it, just because I want to mix it up for the reception by taking off my veil and putting on my flower.
Oh man. Not only am I doing both but I might also have a simple headband in. I saw a pic I loved. But we'll see during the hair trial.

I was watching who's wedding today and the girl on it looks so pretty with both. She has the look like those in this thread... with the hair up, veil in the back and the flower on the side/back

I definitely think you can do both a flower and a veil and rock it! :)
I thought the two would be too much until I tried them on together. I loved it! I am keeping the flower for the reception & ditching the veil.
I think wearing both at the same time can be beautiful. The pictures above are proof!
I'm planning on it, too! I got some cute pink silk-esque flower hair clips from J.Crew (two) and I'm wearing a fingertip veil... I say go for it too!
My veil is not for everyone's style, but here it is. I LOVE this look! The fascinator is removable from the veil, so I'll wear just the flower for the reception. :)

i LOVE the flower and veil look. I will most likely be doing the look and then taking the veil off before the reception and just have the flower on the side of my updo <3
I am also considering wearing both. I wanted a small flower to have when I take my veil off. I like the last pic but I need to have my hair up since it's super long and curly, and too hot in the summer when our wedding is!

I can't decide....between a pretty white and simple hair flower, not too big though or a veil. I love the look of both of them! I have a very simple, 1 tier, elbow length veil. I am wondering if it will look funny wearing that along with a small flower to the side???? Have any of you ladies worn both? I'd love to see pics if so :)
