I just went through this process too, bought an “ivory” veil from BHLDN and upon arrival was worried that it was too light compared to my ivory dress. If u can I would highly recommend buying one in real life when u have ur dress or dress swatch! If not, make sure u can return the veil and try to get a dress swatch (I asked the designer for one) if u don’t have one.

I really dislike when a veil is too white for the dress, but in your case I think as long as it is the same tone (cream) it should be ok. I would be more worried aboUt going too dark. I think dark veils aren’t as flattering to the face (depending on ur skin tone).

Or you an ask your dress shop to order extra of the oatmeal colored material (tulle?) to have a veil made from, that way the color matches exactly.

I am wearing oatmeal, and I made my own veil. It cost like $5 of tulle. Doesn’t match EXACTLY but it’s close enough. But as Mrsttobe said, you can have the shop order tulle from Watters if you want an exact match.
