I don't know much about veil but from the picture, the veil does take the 'spot' light from the dress because it covers your the details of the train, which is one of the good feature of the dress. Also, are you planning on keeping the shoulder strap? If so, I think you should def. go with a short veil b/c with the long veil there is tooo much going on. Hope this helps.

@Krystalcole07: I think it's supposed to be a belt...I got it at a bridal shop in Austin.
@poisonivie: thanks for the suggestion! I decided to go with a more toned down strap that matches the detail on the side...I am still undecide about the veil though...I always wanted a cathedral length veil. =(
Miri is my dress too (without the strap). I'm going with a very basic "average" veil... fingertip veil? is that what those things are called? still learning :)
I wore Miri 4 weeks ago and I had a cathedral length veil covered with Swarovskicrystals. It didn't take away from theverses at all. Iactually made it even more beautiful. ahead already bought a short veil but changed my mind last minute andwas so glad I did. I also had a ruffle strap added which lookeamazing x
I have the miri! I'm not doing a veil, but when I was looking, I had a fingertip veil (that length went very well I thought).. and it had rhinestones on the end.. just a little bit of sparkle.

Hi ladies,
I ordered the Miri a couple of weeks ago after being really indecisive...I'm kind of having second thoughts, but alas, I must move forward. So now I'm trying to decide how to accessorize the dress. I tried on the Miri with a cathedral length veil and I really like it...but now I'm wondering if it takes away from the dress. Help please! Any suggestions on veil length and other jewelry?
