I ordered 3 veils from them last week…should be here any day!  Hopefully they honor their return policy.  My dress is technically ivory but it’s so light that I wasn’t sure if white or ivory would look best with it.

Absolutely!  And I’ll let you know if they honor returns like they say they will too!

One of my customers had a veil from simply bridal.  The beads were sparce and sewn on with invisible thread but not very firmly.  The quality is not the greatest but from a distance it looked fine!  Honestly veils are one of the most overpriced things in all of wedding shopping.  I don’t see any reason to spend the money on an expensive one.

Tagging to follow. I am contemplating purchasing a veil from Simply Bridal- would love to see pics and hear your reviews when they come in.

danibelle:  nuggetsoflove:  Ok, the veils came in the other day!  I was a little disappointed when I peeked in the package as when they were all packaged up the ivory looked REALLY yellow.  Now that I was able to unwrap them it looks a lot lighter.  My dress is at the seamstress so I haven’t been able to see them together yet.   They aren’t boutique quality but I think for the price they are great!  I’m not about to drop hundreds of dollars on a piece of tulle and lace to wear just for the ceremony.

I ordered 3 veils, all with the same lace.  One long ivory (they didn’t have the long one in white when I ordered), and 2 shorter in ivory and white.  On the left is ivory and on the right is white.  Sorry for the crappy photos, but hopefully you get the idea!

idoalterations:  I agree, they are really overpriced. I made two mantilla veils for myself for under $40, so I definitely wouldn’t buy a super expensive one.

Just wanted to put my two cents in. I took the plunge and ordered the 90″ 2 tier raw edge veil in ivory. Shipping took about 1.5 weeks. The veil arrived in a nice box, wrapped in tissue paper. As LibrarianBride mentioned, the ivory does look quite yellow when all the tulle is layered and folded, but when you take the veil out, it lightens significantly and is true to color. However, I felt that the quality of the tulle was AWFUL. It was very stiff (could almost stand on its own), and extremely itchy. The two tiers did not ‘flow’ in the way I want my veil to. Thank goodness for their return policy- $30 or not, this baby is getting sent back!

nuggetsoflove:  I was just coming back to share my experience with returning my extra veils (which was super smooth!).  Sorry you didn’t like the tulle on your veil!  Mine was a little stiff compared to the designer veils, but with only one long layer it isn’t as noticable.  I can imagine with 2 layers it would be a problem.  Hope you find something you like!
