@haileygrace: There really are no rules! You are the bride so its up to you whether you do a veil or not. I certainlly think with your dress you could go either way. If you have long hair….I’m kinda thinking down with loose waves and flowers would be very pretty. If you want to do a veil you could and when you take the veil off after the ceremony you could have flowers in your hair that way you have the best of both worlds!
Here are a few thoughts since you said your hair is long if you went with loose curls and flowers. You could always attach a veil over the top and then when you removed it you still have the flowers
or you could do something like this with hair to the side with a flower and a veil behind
I had a waterfall braid partial updo with long curls and a floral crown and LOVED it! Our wedding’s style was very similar to what you’re describing, too. This is the best picture I have so far…
I like the flower + veil idea like the picture above.
I am wearing a similar style gown to you – I think it comes down to personal preference.
I hate veils, so iam wearing a hair flower with jewels, a big chunky jeweled bracelet, and jewelled earrings. also my shoes have some bling on them too, all of that together i feel make it more ‘weddingy’!
here is a bit of a mash up of my dress and accessories
oh and i am also planning a messy/wavy side do, with the flower on the other side 🙂
