Your dress is so beautiful!
because there is so much detail at the back, i would suggest a sheer chapel length plain veil so that the detail can still be seen through.
do you have any pictures of you wearing it?
Dress twin!!! I just picked Hadley as my dress this week!! :)
I haven't picked a veil yet, but I'm probably going to go with a fingertip length with some sort of beading or lace detail around the edge.
The only thing I'm worried about with the lace is getting it to match up with the lace on the dress. The detail is so intricate, I don't think that's going to be possible. If I go with beading, I want to make sure that the beads are similar to those that are on the dress.
Good luck!!!
@jmbrick: How cool!! It's a pleasure to meet you, dress twin!
Isn't this gown breathtaking?! I actually live in a small, slowly developing area with very few bridal boutiques. I have found gorgeous potential bridesmaid gowns at these boutiques, but very few bridal gowns that made me say WOW! So here's the story...
Eventually, I ran across a gown by Mori Lee (style 1658) in my area. I liked the Mori Lee gown a lot, but was turned off by the butterfly detail below the asymmetrical dropped waist. As I was surfing the net, I came across the Sophia Tolli website and fell in LOVE with Hadley. At the same time, I was skeptical of how this dress would look in real life.
With this, the process of tracking the dress down began! After calling every Sophia Tolli retailer within a 4-hour radius (about 8 shops) and no luck, I almost lost hope. Then, I located a website for a shop I must have overlooked. It was 4 hours away, so I made the call. They were the friendliest of all contacted, and offered to bring in a loaner dress in for me for a small deposit!
In conclusion, the loaner gown was actually a brand new gown (in packaging, never opened), and it was in my size!
I guess I can say that it was "meant to be!"
So happy for you finding your gown!! I'm sure you are going to look stunning in it!! I'll have a few pics uploaded in the comment above me, if you'd like to check them out!
Best,
Sarah
Thanks! Here are some photos of me in the gown (wish I had one of a side view w/ train)

Hi fellow bees!
I just ordered my dress (Sophia Tolli's "Hadley"), and need help in finding a veil for this gown. The color is Alabaster Ivory, which apparently is a cooler-toned, less yellow shade of ivory (or a shade more resemblant of oyster?) I was set on purchasing an ivory gown, but the bridal consultant sold me to this alabaster ivory shade to complement my dark hair/very fair skin.
Here's the gown (got the photos from the Sophia Tolli website and another site):

I appreciate all of your thoughts/ideas!!
