SO I am looking for veils!! I tried on a walking length/finertip lace edged veil in the store….adored it! But i also fell in like with a two tier ribbon edged fingertip length veil! but here is where I get stuck!
My dress is “soft netting” over chantilly lace: bringing me to both points that make me flip flop from wearing the lace veil
1.) is a lace veil with my dress (which again is netting over lace) too much lace???
2.) does the lace have to match perfectly for it to look right??? since the lace is under the netting….
my dress for refrence: Morie Lee 3156
(not identical to the veils i was looking at but close enough for refrence….both dress and veil will be in a light ivory)
ribbon edge: (longer than in the picture:)
or any other veil styles i am missing….maybe just a plain veil or one with crystal embelishments maybe???
what do you ladies think?

My dress was lace and my veil had lace trim. I didn’t find anything matchy matchy, but I still felt it looked really nice and not like it was lace overload. If you love the lace, definitely go with the lace! I think it will be beautiful with a lace veil!

Ribbon edge seems like a better option in my opinion. Both are nice though.

@kansas_nurse: Thank you! I was really worried that they wouldn’t “go” but they seem to look great together!
Maybe you can try on a variety of veils with your dress (or a sample) at a shop to help you decide?

@tentwelvethirteen: thats what I am hoping to do, and then hopefully keep the desinger and style number or take a detail pic of the lace….i just dont want to spend $180 for the same veil I found online for $30….(well not identical but damn near it!)
