I also had a three-tiered veil (two combs, though, so I could wear the shorter veil during the reception). It was my mom’s from the ’80s, but was in remarkably good shape. She removed the headband (yes, headband), and the very ’80ish lace around the edge and added Swarovski crystals to the shorter veil by hand. It made it so special for me!

I am just getting some sneak pic pictures back today from my photographer that might show it better, but here are a couple that somewhat show mine off. I loved wearing one. It had rhinstones around the edging.

RhianfaHW:  Awesome! I definitely recommend! As the evening wore on and my curls fell some, the veil hid all that very nicely. It also made for some great backlit shots during sunset! We have some awesome ones inside the barn where we had our reception, but I don’t have those on this computer! Here’s one I do have with the people who caught our garter and bouquet, though! (We got married on the longest day of the summer!)

I already posted, but here is a better shot of my veil when my mom put it on. It shows off the rhinestone edging.

I lucked out and found the veil I loved at the salon I bought my dress at, online with a way lower price (turns out it was a pricing error, but they honored it for me!)

The left was at the salon with my dress on, though that was a fingertip length veil, I ordered the chapel length, which perfectly skirts my dress! The right is the up close detail of it when I got it!

Same!

It’s an Ansonia Veil and I adore it!

RhianfaHW:  at the salon I was at, they priced it at $350. I found it online from other retailers for $250, and one day randomly saw it for $150, I bought it immediately, worried it was a scam a bit… But figured I’d be protected through paypal and/or my credit card if it was… But nope, they had an error on the price sheet that was given to them, and had uploaded that incorrect price. I was ecstatic! 🙂

I bought mine used off kijiji and I loved it!  The girl I bought it from said it was from Mori Lee so it matched my dress perfectly (ivory colour).
