Do you like veils? I think either would look great and even both together if you wanted to. If it were me? Im not a huge veil person and if it was an informal wedding (beach etc) then I would just go with the flowers
It all depends on what type of wedding your having and if you like veils. I'm getting married overlooking the beach and will only wear flowers in my hair. Not a fan of veils personally.
I'm doing a very similar hair style and I am doing both. I am wearing a large flower on one side and then a single layer, elbow length veil that will be tucked under the bun part.
I'm doing both, too, similar to what SoonToBeeMrsD is doing. Except I'll have a cathedral length veil tucked under the hair bun. I think it just depends on what look you are going for though.
If you want to wear a veil this is the one and only day you can do it. I think you could totally get away with both.
Both would be nice I guess. Remember: the veil is a once in a lifetime experience
Like it's been previously stated, it really depends on what kind of wedding you have, and if you like the way it looks. I have a mid-length veil that I'll be wearing with a small floral headpiece.
Thanks for your help! I don't know if i'm a veil person or not! :) I didn't necessarily think I needed one, but now I can't quite get past the "it's my only time to wear one" thought in my head! Also, our wedding will be outside on the shore of Lake Superior.
I'm leaning toward just flowers, but if I do a veil I think I'll look for one that is 54" wide (not as full as other veils) and I'd want it to just hang in the back and not fall around the shoulders.
