i had a circular drop veil with satin binding. when walking down the aisle I had the top layer over my face.

i just kind of pulled back the front part of my hair and stuck the clip in, a little bit higher than I would usually wear a clip because I was worried that the veil would pull it down if it was at the back of my head. i was SO worried about the veil falling off, especially with all the wind. my bridesmaid stuck a bunch of big bobby pins around it to keep it in place and at the end of the night back at the hotel, I could NOT get that thing off! it took my husband about fifteen minutes to  pull all the pins out and extract the veil from my hair! I can’t believe I was ever worried!

@polkadotgirl:  Oh my gosh you looked soooooo pretty! I’m in love with polkadots, I can’t ever get enough! The picture with the little dog melted my heart 🙂

@MsMeow haha, thanks! the dog belonged to our landlady who “just happened to be walking by” with the dog right as we were leaving the house (my mum tipped her off). I insisted he be in some photos cause he’s just the cutest little muppet ever! and my mum used the same polka dot fabric for her dress, I’ve always loved it. I’m a dressmaker & I’m currently making some bridesmaid dresses with it because the bride saw my wedding photos and loved the fabric!

@LovesBeingAMrs: Ah thank you. I didn’t want one that long, but then I tried it on and that was it, I loved the look of it and wearing it, I felt like a bride.
