I'm looking to buy my veil online. I looked around in NY and even the most affordable ones were 125+ which seems like a lot for something without any embellishments (just a pencil edge). could you recommend me some online stores? if ebay or etsy, could you specify which vendor exactly you've worked with previously? in addition, if you've used occansey before, how did you like them? their no-return policy worries me. thanks!

    Hi NYbride,

I am in the same boat.  I saw the following site mentioned in one of my bridal books but haven't purchased anything yet.  The veils are customizable and the prices are reasonable.

    www.veilshop.com

    Good luck! :-)

I was in the same boat.  Didnt want to spend hundreds on a veil that all I wanted was a pencil edge.  I found http://www.whitedovebridal.com/Files/Basement/veils_on_sale.htm

and bought a 2 layer with gold/white pencil edge.  Havent received it yet, so I am hoping for the best although I did purchase the edge samples and they seem great.
