Veil Recommendations Needed!

posted 6 months ago in Beehive

My wedding is in two months and I still don't have a veil!  My wedding will be held in Chicago, but I live in Los Angeles so I'll need to be doing my shopping in the L.A. area or online.  Does anyone have a good recommendation for a nice veil.  I'm looking to spend $75 or less.

Will you be in Chicago?  If so head to Erin Gallagher www.egjewelry.com (no veils online sadly) however they have a local designer called Erin Lindsay she creates amazing custom veils super reasonable.

They are at 1017 W Lake St (312) 494-7548 in the West Loop - they did my jewelry, custom wedding bands, my veil, and bridesmaid jewelry.  It's amazing - and they're fast!!

I got mine online from Dori Anne Veils (www.dorianneveils.com); I'm pretty sure I got the recommendation from a few of the bees (yep, did a quick search, Mrs. Plumeria and Mrs. Lemon wrote about her).  Debra gave FANTASTIC service and huge selection, plus it came in super early.  Highly recommend her.  Good luck!

I also got mine from veilshop.com It was a great price and I just got it last week and it is perfect. You will easily find something in your $75 budget. Mine was $76 plus shipping and that was with adding a $20 blusher.

I have to second Occansey Designs an online shop.  I just recieved mine in the mail yesterday and I LOVE it.  I asked about 5 questions and they were very quick to help, and very helpful!!! You can make the veil custom, so if you want it extra sheer or such, they do custom cuts.  The prices are also good.  Did I mention that I LOVE my veil!

My veil was $150, but it is two layers.  The bottom layer cathedral length and the top veil shoulder length, with gold pencil edge trimming and scattered crystals throughout both layers. I recieved mine 12 days after I ordered it and it was made custom.

Good luck

I purchased mine online from www.victoriasweddingveils.com

I spent less than $100 for a 4 layer Cathedral veil! The veil looks gorgeous. I am so pleased!

Good Luck!
