The shop I bought my dress at offers a wedding package, which includes a free veil, shoes, and discounts on lots of products. This is the veil that I picked to go with my dress. I knew I wanted something long that didn't cover my face. Overall I like the simplicity of this veil. It has delicate flower beading on the edge. But now  I'm wondering if it's a good length, and if the beading is too delicte and gets lost in the lace on my dress. I also think that the curve on the veil is just wrong for my body shape. What do you ladies think? Should I try to exchange the veil or try different styles? Lately I've been looking at lace veils.

I like your veil in theory, but something seems off.  I think it's the shape more than the length.  I think a more square-ish bottom or a wider circle (like the ones you posted) would be better.  It almost seems to come to a point.  Maybe with slightly heavier beading and scattered crystals so it'll stand out a bit more.  I think your dress is stunning and you look great in it, so personally, I would stick with a simple veil so that it doesn't take much attention away from your (AMAZING) dress.  But of the other two you posted, I like the plain lace-edge veil more.  It'll show off your dress better.

I just went thru veil rgret.  I like the idea of a simpler veil with your lace gown.  But the shape of that one is just off for some reason.

Your dress is beautiful!  I think a longer, fuller veil would match your dress better.  I personally would choose a raw edge, chapel length veil.

I bought the David's Bridal Vera Wang raw edge cathedral veil to go with my lace beauty. It's a perfect length and the lace shows through. PLUS I bought it second hand here on the bee  :)

I think long and simple could be the way to go with that dress. Lace would be overkill and detract from the dress but the current veil just doesn't sing with the dress either.

Wow, I am surprised with the responses.  I really like your veil over the alternatives.  It adds just enough, while allowing the details of your dress to shine through.  I would keep it.

I'm personally obsessed with polka dots and have honestly considered having them on my gown, so the third choice made me a little giddy. I like the veil you have though. Have you tried setting it a little higher on your head to see if that helps? It's your call in the end but I can see a more of a circular veil working as well, though I think the delicate beading you have is really pretty.

i think a simple veil works best with your dress. The lace one would be lace overload and I don't think the polka dot one matches well. I'd stick with your original choice.
