what kind of veil would you suggest to go with this dress. I don’t have a pic of me in it yet. I am going to pick it up a week on Friday and I would like to try it with some different types of veils.
I like the idea of a lace edged cathedral length veil (am marrying in a huge Cathedral) but wondering if the lace edge would be too much as the dress is all lace.
Hoping for some advice.

That is a lovely dress and looks similar to mine. I am wearing an elbow length chiffon veil with minimal beading. A veil that is too elaborate would take away from the dress and be OTT

Mid you have any pics of your dress and veil? MO would live to see them
I agree with a veil with not too much on it. Just want a length that is flattering to the gown and also fitting to the venue. Am marrying in an english cathedral.

@aleachay: An elbow length veil would be nice, but I’m kind of thinking getting married in an cathedral, I would do a longer veil, maybe cathedral length?

Thank you. What do you think about some lace edging on a cathedral length veil? X

First of all, I would suggest a finger tip length instead of an elbow length. The elbow length might cut you’re back at the most interesting point (the deep v), where as a thin finger tip veil would delicately let the back of your dress shin through. I heard once that cutting a veil anywhere abovethe hip makes you look wider (which I don’t think many brides want).
I also love a long cathedral veil, and that would accomplish the same goal as the finger tip veil. Personally, I prefer a light and simple veil. If it were me, I’d leave the lace to the dress. Good luck!
