Not sure what type of veil I should wear.  My dress is tea length, halter with a green ribbon sash.  I don't want anything fancy, just simple.  I don't like those really little birdcage veils, i guess is what they are called.  Would elbow length be too long?

I think elbow length would work well with the tea-length and not compete with the halter or sash.

I dont think elbow length would be too long, i think it would look great!  You could do basic cut edged tulle or pencil edge to embellishments, depending on your dress.  Do you have a photo of the dress so we can help out?

Here is the dress..the white ribbon under the bust is replace with green ribbon that will tie in the back.  I also have green shoes to match

I agree that elbow length would look great with your dress!

Elbow length would work fine! =) You could also do shoulder-length or shoulder-blade-length (halfway between your shoulders and elbows, approximately) if you're worried about formality.

I think elbow would be beautiful.  But as Jenniphyr said, if you are worried about formality then shoulder blade length would be beautiful.  I'd steer away from a lot of embellishment on the veil though.  If you're going to do any, Id make it minimal.

Elbow, birdcage, and shoulder blade all sound lovely!  I agree with KellyV about having a simple veil so that it can match the formality of your dress.

I agree with the elbow- dress it up a little but not too much. That is a very pretty dress!

Elbow length would be very pretty!  I think I would go for a shoulder length myself.

I think elbow length is the perfect size especially if your dress isn't all that fancy and is tea-length.

I think a shoulder sweeping, single layer veil would look great! I wasn't that keen on that length, but my sister had one for her wedding and once it was on, with her dress, it was very bridal but simple, and I think that would go best with your dress.  I wore a birdcage veil, which I think would look great too, but I didn't wear one of the small ones.  I wore a fuller one that came over the front of my eyes.  You could also wear one in a snood style (a la Mrs. Avocado at her second reception).
