Well it really depends. if you wear a bolero like mine where its victorian inspired and has a very high collar yes it woud look like too much. BUT if you dont have a high collar or no collar at all it would look just fine! :)

I think it would work depending on your hair style and how you will wear the veil.
im wearing a lace gown with a lace bolero and veil...i felt like a "cloud" because the original veil had some lacey detail too,and it was supposed to go over the updo, but i felt the need to change it because i thought it was going to be too much.. now i got a very simple veil that is going to be under the updo so i will look and feel less of a cloud! :P

could you wear a birdcage veil? i think that would look pretty on you with that dress and bolero,
ps i have been considering that bolero for ages now! even before i was engaged its just so pretty
I like the idea of one or the other. Although I do love the suggestion of doing a birdcage veil, then you could definitely wear both at the same time.
I wore just a veil for the ceremony and then swapped it for the bolero for the reception. But I do have a few pictures of me in both that we took that morning. Here's one...

Hmm... Well I don't want to do a birdcage veil, because I have a family veil (FI's cousin)! But I think the best bet is to just try it and see! I can always wear the bolero at the reception a la missomally :)

I'm wearing a bolero with my gown (comes with it) and tried on a veil when I bought the dress. I did iike how it looked, but I've decided not to wear one and will have a flower/fascinator in my hair instead.
Please tell me the designer of this bolero!! Please!! I have been searching for a long sleeved simple delicate lace...looks amazing.

Do you bees think you can wear a veil and a bolero? I really want a purple bolero to wear over my dress in the church, but when I think about it I feel like it would look strange to also have an elbow length veil...
What Do you think?
