I have not bought a veil yet but Sposabella Lace (on 39th street between 7th and 8th I believe) seems awesome. I popped in one day and they were so nice and had a wide range of stuff. Other people have posted about them on here and were very happy.
There's a bridal salon on the second floor on 6th ave btw 37th and 38th that sells affordable dresses (my friend got hers there), so they might have affordable veils! Wish I could remember the name. Otherwise, I would look at Etsy!
Have you tried the wedding shop at MJ Trimmings? I've never been inside, but I would think it would be budget friendly since MJ Trimmings is all about DIY stuff.
There's a David's Bridal that opened in Chelsea, too. They might have some stuff.
Otherwise, Craig's List, Project Wedding, and other classifieds. Good luck!
I went into M&J's Wedding Salon once and the price on the birdcage veil was so scary that it convinced me to make my own! I love them, but everything in there is sooo expensive!
DB in Chelsea is a good suggestion, though!
I would suggest the Wedding Library. They do custom made veils, for not too much.

Hi all,
Can anyone please recommend a store in NYC were I can get veils at a low cost?
Any store you recommend that sells sample veils would be great too. How much does it cost to clean a veil?
I can't find any place that sells a very simple plain cut edge round (no trimmings), finger-tip length, 2 or 3 layer ivory veil.
Thank you,
