I used ebay and the seller, veils_outlet. They have an ivory veil with the color of my bridesmaid dresses on the rim.

that is their store. I dont know how you will like it, but they seem cheaper than going to the store and buying it.
I was thinking of buying my veil(s) on eBay too! I wouldn't think the quality would be any less.
Because I'm petite, I didn't like the lengths of any veils I tried on. I used Candi Merle of Crowning Glory Designs to custom make my veil to my specifications at a fraction of the cost you'd find in bridal salons. Check her out at candi@cgveils.com
I got mine on etsy - for some reason I trust the sellers on there more than the ones on ebay. The prices are similar too.
I purchased my veil at Occansey and was VERY pleased with the result - the material was nice and the construction was great. Overall it was a steal compared to most shops.
Everyone should buy their veil from Etsy. I got mine from MegsVeils. She is even more affordable than what I could find on Ebay.
I bought mine on Ebay for $35. It's a two-layered waltz length with swarovskis and pearls at the end. The plain ones were cheaper. It's really pretty and it looks and reels just like the $500 ones I tried on in some couture shop. Really, why are they so damn expensive in the stores?! Don't waste your money, I bought mine from Venus Veils. Works for me! I'm also only wearing mine for the ceremony, not the reception...so I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on it.
I bought mine from veilshop...it was really hard to find a reasonably priced veil with a metal comb, and as I was just looking for a simple catherdral length veil, they seemed to be the best bet. I loved my veil and wish it hadn't gotten lost after the wedding :(.
I'm DIYing my birdcage veil, but I totally got my dress on eBay. I know that sounds odd, but I tried the dress on at DB before I bid on it, so I knew what it looked like on me and what size I needed. I'm also getting some neat jewelry for my BMs and some other funky things for the reception on eBay. I <3 eBay!
Occansey! I love my veil. It arrived very fast and it is exactly what I wanted.

Sorry, there are no users yet.
There are veils on ebay that sell for a fraction of the price. They use bridal illusion, the same material as veilshop and occansey.
I'm wondering if there is a difference in quality and craftsmanship. I always like bargains, but I don't want to buy something awful. I'm looking for a simple unembellished cathedral veil, which is easily found on all three sites.
TIA!
