We are using them for our rehershal dinner hosted by my future in laws. They have had nothing but wonderful things to say about them so far. I will let you know how it goes.
Thanks! I like that I can do most of my rentals through them too (tent/tables/chairs/etc). I'm still waiting on the catering proposal from them, but my date is in 2010 so I've still got a little time.
I would LOVE to hear how your rehearsal goes!
I went to a clam bake wedding and it ws very very messy. It was a nice thought; but, in reality, it didn't work well for me. Why not do that for the rehearsal dinner instead? Unless people are coming in jeans, shorts, and T shirts; people aren't going to want to get their nice trousers/ties and dresses messy. Truthfully, it is a lovely idea; but it didn't work.
Let us know if it worked for you. Best--
I love clam bakes! I don't know if they are ideal for a wedding unless you want to bring down the formalness (is that a word) of your wedding. I got stuff on my party dress and it was not fun!

I'm considering a caterer and was wondering if anyone had any advice or comment on New England Clambakes Company? They do BBQs and Clambakes and since I'm looking for a homey feel with no fuss food they seem pretty good, but I figured I'd dig a bit and see if anyone's used them?
