I'm in Christiansburg, but we got married in WV, so I'm no help. I do know a good photographer if you don't have one yet. Oh, and there's an awesome baker in Christiansburg. Our cake was the best wedding cake I've ever tasted.
@TheFutureMcBride: We're still shopping around for vendors so any suggestions are definitely welcome.
@TheFutureMcBride: Oh yay for Christiansburg! I'm in Blacksburg. Do you know any good area seamstresses?
@WonderTwin: The cake place we used is Our Daily Bread and my photographer was Sutphin Studios. I think both were realyl good deals and provided great service. Seriously, the cake was the best ever and they'll deliver to Roanoke. As for Sutphin Studios, Samantha, my photographer, was fun, nice, and really helpful. While I was getting ready, she was even answering my last minute questions I had forgotten about.
@RayRayFurious: Alterations by Lynda in Roanoke. She altered my dress and it was perfect. I went to her with no idea about anything; she made my dress perfect. She's also the alterations person for Amrhein's, but she also does them out of her house. Totally loved her and recommend her to everyone now.
@WonderTwin: We used Billy at Twig & Berry for our flowers. He was really easy to work with. I gave him a general idea of what I wanted, and I was a little nervous that I wasn't more specific. I didn't get to see my flowers until the day of the wedding because I was planning from out of town, but they were gorgeous. Billy did a great job and was pretty affordable, at least from what I saw from other people's floral budgets.
@TheFutureMcBride: FH is 2 weeks into an internship in Blacksburg, so I just recently learned about Our Daily Bread. Really tasty stuff!
If I hadn't done my own flowers, I would have wanted Mark at Creative Occasions in Vinton to do them! His work is always awesome - my family calls on him a lot when we need arrangements or corsages.

I found Sassy Clippers in Roanoke and just had my hair trial. I definitely suggest the stylists there, especially if you're looking for a good atmosphere and a good deal.
Now that I'm post-wedding here are my vendor recommendations for Roanoke, VA:

Do any Roanoke locals (or those familiar with the area) have any suggestions on florists to check out? How about hair stylists?
