Florist: ME (a friend's parent's farm wild flowers and grocery store flowers)
Cake: Still working on this, especially since we want pie
Dress: Cici Bridal on etsy! SO excited!
Shoes: Still working on this. Please let me know if you find beautiful cobalt blue heels under 3" for less then $100.
BM Dress: Ugh, like herding cats! Nothing but dreams in my head so far.
Hair Stylist: Asking FI's hair stylist cousin on Christmas Day
Make-up artist: One of my BMs who used to do makeup professionally.

I feel like I've lucked out on having/knowing so many talented people! Which is the only way we could pull this wedding off seeing as our budget is super tiny!

Ladies I am a vendor however I am not fishing for clients, in the event I was fishing for clients I would have posted this within the area of my choice. I enjoy writing on the board and helping others out.

I would like brides to share with each other about their vendors as well as endorse vendors I know. If you choose not to share that is okay, best wishes on your plans.

it is a vendor but i don't think they are fishing... simply just asking for input. They maybe looking to see what area brides are stuck on or what the first things to book are.

The reason it comes across as fishing is because their chosen name is so obviously a vendor. 9 times out of 10 on here when someone names themselves in such a way they spam the boards or fish for clients, which is why it was suspicious.

I agree that it's suspicious since the vendor talks about helping posters but what help have they actually provided? The rules say that they are not allowed to promote their business but they haven't offered any helpful advice. Each of the local boards has lists of who is being used in that area so a thread like this doesn't come across as practical. If they were looking to help out with which vendors to book first/next, then they wouldn't ask who specifically folks are using in each category.
