We are using etsy seller blackbirdpress. We're doing a two-color invitation (but may do just one-color, and mount it onto cardstock for color), one-color RSVP card, and a set of one-color envelopes to match each. It's $6/set. I am thinking of maybe doing flat printing for the RSVP card (it gets sent back to us anyway!) and doing letterpress for the reception card, directions, card, etc.
We already did our STDs, with no letterpress. We did magnets and postcards (for the hotel block info) from VP, made our own pocketfolds, and sealed with a wax seal. All that was about $100.
And for TY cards, a girl on my local knot page just bought a letterpress and asked for people to buy her paper and ink, and she'd do the letterpress (she wants practice before she prints her own invites). So I'd just have to buy the paper and ink.
Letterpress is super delicious.
Glad to hear you got a good deal! Seven items per set is quite the invitation suite!
Doing a mixture is pretty common! I wish I had $1K to drop on invites! I bet they are just dreamy. :D

I just got my letterpress invites printed! Didn't want to spend so much for letterpress but my family insisted on going all out on them. We decided to do the Invites, RSVP, Directions on letterpress and the Save the Date, Envelopes and Thank You Cards on offset. Has anyone else done a mixture of printing with their invites? We decided to do the other cards on offset because it was cheaper and we were able to add an extra color to make it stand out more. My bridesmaids helped with the graphic design. We even considered digital printing but you can't pick a Pantone Color and my gold theme was hard to match. Bummer, because it was cheaper.
I researched a long time to find a vendor and SFSEE.com came out the best. We paid roughly $1,000 for everything. (EXPENSIVE, but cheaper than every else we looked).
This was for 150 sets, 7 items per set. Wondering if anybody else have a similar set and how much they paid?
